Our beginning
A better relationship with technology starts with a better question.
We did not start by asking how to put more AI into people’s lives. We asked where technology could make a difficult moment feel a little more workable.
Founded in 2024, Inner Work brought together product, engineering, strategy, and wellbeing perspectives around a shared conviction: technology can be warm, useful, and honest about its limits.
abeni became our first answer—an ongoing conversational companion for emotional reflection. Mind Reset followed with a different answer: short, structured tools for the exact moment someone is in. Together, they are the beginning of a broader product family.
